Do you like meat? Do you like fresh, pound-for-pound deliciousness? GREAT! Gentlemen! Listen up! Ladies- get your visa’s out alright? The Shop Spot I wanted to highlight today really hits me in the tummy. No, seriously- if you haven’t already – you must take a look- like NOW!
Check out the fresh-meat products from Slipacoff’s Premium Meats. This family owned and operated business headquartered in Ottawa caught my attention due to the sheer quality of the products they sell online, not to mention I’m also a connoisseur for all things beef & pork related.
From steaks, to pork shoulders and most cuts in between, Slipacoff’s Premium Meats offers a variety of different options, all butchered with quality in mind. Here’s what some of the shop’s customers are saying, and more specifically in relation to the Tenderloin Steak product seen here:
“Our tenderloin steak from Slipacoff’s Premium Meats was absolutely perfect! It was cooked medium rare, and was the most tender and flavorful steak we have ever had! We look forward to trying the balance of our order – Cornish game hens, bacon and Kobe beef burgers! A real treat for sure!“ – ML Bricarmar
“We carry some pretty amazing products. Our line caters more towards a high-end clientele but at affordable prices so everyone can really enjoy it. Great quality at a reasonable price. “ – Ian Slipacoff – Shop Owner
When asked what inspired Ian to undertake moving the butchery to an online-environment, here is what Ian had to say:
“As far as personal inspiration, it has come from Harley [Finkelstein]. He has shown me that people are trending more to buying things online instead of in store. You have to start thinking outside the box to be successful. You can’t be afraid to try new ideas. They may not always work but if you stop trying, that is when you fail.”
Well-said, coming from such a successful entrepreneur. Ian has got it right too when it comes down to taking a risk. In the end, you never know how beneficial that risk may be, so why not take it, learn from it and grow from it like Ian has? You never know what your next risky venture may take you.
